Sloan Global provides quality structural steel detailing services for medium to large construction projects requiring structural steel, miscellaneous steel. Epcot Project G

 This project is part of a theme park. Building structures were constructed with structural steel using WF (Beams & Columns), HSS Tubes, Channels, Angles, Plates and Rebar profiles. 

 

Total Tonnage: 350 Tons

 

Duration: 8 Weeks

Monterey Apartment

This building consisted of 5-storied steel structures for apartment buildings where steel structures were interfaced with wooden rafter and joist. 

 

Total Tonnage: 600 Tons

 

Duration: 12 weeks

 

Challenges: This project involved coordination with other vendors, such as the timber, joist and deck supplier. We detailed the steel structures to be suited for all connections required for other discipline activities

Multi storied building - 3 Towers. – Bellevue plaza

This project consisted of 3 Towers with 18 floors of commercial building. The structures involved structural steels using WF (Beams & Columns), HSS Tubes, Channels, Angles, Plates and Rebar profiles.

 

We also detailed structures such as canopies, screen walls, BRBs, encased columns, sprinkler systems, tower crane, man lifting supports / tie items, stair and lift, precast co-ordination, and deck floor co-ordination.

 

Steel columns used bolted splice connections, as well as welded splices. Beams were connected using bolted shear and moment type connections.

 

Total Building Tonnage: 8000 Tons

 

Duration: 52 Weeks

Artise project (2021 – 2022)

 This project consisted of 26 floors of commercial building. Main building structures were constructed with structural steel using WF (Beams & Columns), HSS Tubes, Channels, Angles, Plates and Rebar’s profiles. 

 

We detailed the entire structure using TEKLA, including but not limited to ramps, canopies, screen walls, BRBs, encased columns, sprinkler systems, tower tower crane, man lifting supports / tie items, stair and lift, precast co-ordination, and deck floor co-ordination.

 

Steel columns used bolted splice connections, as well as welded splices. Beams were mainly connected with bolts and nuts, using shear and moment connections.

 

Total Tonnage: 9000 Tons

 

Duration: ~20 Weeks

Westlake project (2021 – 2022)

 This project consisted of 16 floors of commercial building. Main building structures were constructed with structural steel using WF (Beams & Columns), HSS Tubes, Channels, Angles, Plates and Rebar’s profiles.

 

We detailed the entire structure using TEKLA, including but not limited to screen walls, encased columns, stairs and handrails with perforated plates, precast co-ordination, and deck floor co-ordination.

 

Steel columns used bolted splice connections, as well as welded splices.  Beams were mainly connected with bolts and nuts, using side plate connections.

 

Total Tonnage: 2500 Tons

 

Duration: ~12 Weeks

Shepherd Hotel project (2021)

 This project consisted of 6 floors of hotel building. Main building structures were constructed with structural steel using WF (Beams & Columns), HSS Tubes, Channels, Angles and Plates.

 

We detailed the entire structures using TEKLA, including but not limited to elevator divider, beams and roof equipment supports, canopies, screen walls, and deck floor co-ordination.

 

Steel columns used bolted splice connections, as well as welded splices. Beams were mainly connected with bolts and nuts, using shear and moment connections.

 

Total Tonnage: 300 Tons

 

Duration: 4 Weeks

Texas Instrument

  This project consisted of 2 floors of ware-house building. Main building structures were constructed with structural steel using WF (Beams & Columns), Trusses, HSS Tubes, Channels, Angles, and Plates.

 

We detailed the entire structure using TEKLA, including but not limited to pipe support frames, different type of welded trusses, and grating supports.

 

Steel columns used bolted splice connections, as well as welded splices. Beams were mainly connected with bolts and nuts, using shear and moment connections.

 

Total Tonnage: 10500 Tons

 

Duration: 20 Weeks

Heater project

This project consisted of 14 NOS of heater platforms in an industrial building. Main building structures were constructed with structural steel using WF (Beams & Columns), HSS Tubes, Channels, Angles, Plates, and floor handrails & ladders.

 

We detailed the entire structure using TEKLA, including but not limited to heater platform support connection coordination, grating supports, circular platforms, cantilever platforms, and handrails & ladders

 

Steel columns used bolted splice connections, as well as welded splices. Beams were mainly connected with bolts and nuts, using shear and moment connections.

 

Total Tonnage: 2500 Tons

 

Duration: 12 Weeks

 

The Scrabble (2021)

This warehouse project consisted of 4 floors. Building structures were constructed with structural steel using WF (Beams & Columns), HSS Tubes, Channels, Angles, Plates and Rebar’s profiles. 

 

Total Tonnage: 24000 Tons

 

Duration: 20 Weeks

 

 

Industrial / Oil & Gas Module structures

This structure consisted of two levels of oil and gas platforms, with the whole structure modelled as module type structures. All connections were detailed as welded connections. We also detailed stairs, handrails, gratings, chequered plates, ramp and walkway platforms which are connected to module structures with bolt and nut connections. 

 

Total Building Tonnage: 100 Tons

 

Duration: 6 Weeks

Galvline - Industrial structures

This detailing was completed for a galvanising shop. Structural members included WF beams, channels, Angles, HSS, plates, chequered plates, gratings, handrails, stairs, crane beam, joist, walkway platform, and roof trusses. These structures were connected with heavy duty tension-controlled bolts and nuts.

 

Total Height of the Structure: 250’ with a span of 120’

 

Total Tonnage: 1440 Tons

 

Duration: 20 Weeks
